Bicycle Paths Ciclo-Rutas

As part of a program for urban development 120 kilometers of bicycle paths as well as comfortable pedestrian pathways have been created in Bogota as an alternatives for daily travel. Some of the bicycle paths are located next to the main roads and secondary streets as well as passing through the parks. This has been done in order to integrate the use of the bicycle as an alternative system of transportion and at the same time to help the environment by lowering the pollution level. Como un programa de renovación urbana de Bogotá se han construido 120 kilómetros de ciclo-rutas nuevas y comodidades peatonales para el transporte diario. Las ciclo-rutas, están localizadas al los lados de algunas vías principales, intermedias y a través de los parques, para integrar el uso de la bicicleta en el sistema alternativo de transporte y ayudar a bajar el nivel de contaminación del aire.
