Juan Pablo Montoya – Race car driver. The best Colombian driver in national and international car racing, at the age of nine, Montoya won the children's division of the Colombian National Karting Championship. Six years later he secured a first place win in the World Karting Championship, a record he repeated the following year. In 1999 he won the Cart World Series in the United States seven times over and was the winner of the International Formula 3000 Championship. In 2000 he won the Indianapolis 500. From 2001 to 2006 he competed in the Formula One (F1) racing circuit and earned victories in Italy, Monaco, Germany, Brazil, and Great Britain. He began his NASCAR racing career in 2007 and won the 24 Hours of Daytona race. He received first prize in Mexico's NASCAR Busch Series and also conquered the Nextel Cup in Sonoma. In 2008 he won for the second time the 24 hours of Daytona. In May 2015 he again became the champion of the Intianapolis 500. Montoya was born in 1975. Juan Sebastian Gomez, a tennis player.
